Is a pre-system absolutely necessary to use CLASS-X?
No, you can also use CLASS-X without a connection to your upstream system. You can import your data into CLASS-X using a CSV file, edit your data and then import it back into your system. However, for an efficient process, we clearly recommend the connection to an ERP or merchandise management system. The connection to your upstream system helps you to minimize sources of error, avoid time-consuming data transfers and your data is always up to date.
Always automatically up-to-date nomenclature (CN)
The Combined Nomenclature (CN) is updated every year. Does this mean that my own goods classification has to be researched again?
No, because CLASS-X carries out the update and also the goods tariff classification independently and automatically. You will receive an overview so that you can check the new tariffs and take action. If there are any ambiguous replacements of goods tariff numbers, you will receive suggestions for suitable customs tariff numbers and then only have to select the correct goods tariff number.
