In special cases, it is necessary to transport premature babies to a special clinic. Premature babies should not actually be transported. It is therefore vital that the patient transport is as calm and vibration-free as possible.
This safe transportation can be ensured by using a special transport incubator.
Unfortunately, this baby emergency ambulance is not yet anchored in the Emergency Medical Services Act and is also not financed by the health insurance companies.
The Björn Steiger Foundation has made it its mission to bring the little ones safely to their destination and finances the fuel costs, part of the running costs and the insurance of the incubator and the vehicle in the form of a service contract.
For this reason, BEX has been sponsoring this charity for the safety of our little ones since 2016.
