More than 15 successful years have already passed since BEX Components AG was founded in 2006. Reason enough to celebrate properly! And according to the ideas of the entire BEX team. A city trip to Prague emerged from various suggestions with an overwhelming majority.
The trip started on Saturday, June 25, 2022. We met early in the morning to start the bus journey to Prague. The journey, which was initially characterized by tiredness, quickly became more lively. By the breakfast break with fresh pretzels, sausage, cheese and coffee, everyone was back among the living and the anticipation of Prague grew ever greater.
The destination was reached around midday and Prague greeted us with pouring rain, so that the short walk to the hotel meant that many of us had to completely replace our first set of clothes with the spare ones. But a short time later the weather turned for the better and the afternoon program could begin. Although the afternoon was free, the participants had already decided in advance to spend the afternoon together playing paintball or beer boating.
Drawn by the afternoon’s activities, they met up in the evening for a medieval dinner, which was accompanied by music, dancing and fire-eaters and offered something for all tastes.
However, the day was not over yet. Depending on their interests, different groups set off to explore and enjoy Prague’s nightlife, sometimes until the early hours of the morning.
However, sleeping in was out of the question. Breakfast was served at 8:30 a.m. and then it was time to set off on a guided tour of the city. Partly by bus, partly by boat and partly on foot, we criss-crossed Prague. The competent city guide didn’t seem to miss a single sight.
After a midday snack and quite exhausted from the city tour and the short night, everyone was looking forward to simply getting on the bus and being driven home.
On the return journey, everyone reflected on their impressions of Prague and talked about the togetherness and solidarity of the BEX participants – all participants will certainly be talking about BEX Event 2022 for a long time to come.
