Mission IT: young female agents in action at BEX Components AG
On this year’s Girls’ Day, BEX Components AG became the secret headquarters for courageous young female agents. Under the code name “Mission IT”, our participants were given an exciting task: to decode the world of information technology – with curiosity, drive and a good dose of team spirit.
Armed with screwdrivers, the girls dismantled laptops into their individual parts, explored the technology of servers and learned how to program a game – step by step and with lots of enthusiasm. Their mission: try it out, understand it, do it yourself! Not only were they able to discover technical skills, they also learned how diverse and creative IT professions really are.
A special highlight: the exclusive Mission Impossible photo shoot! Each participant was able to feel like a real secret agent for once – including an individual agent photo as a souvenir of an unforgettable day.
Girls’ Day has a clear goal: to give girls an insight into professional fields in which women have so far been underrepresented – such as in the IT sector. At BEX Components AG, we want to show young talents how exciting technical professions can be – and that girls in IT can not only keep up, but also shine.
Whether as developers, IT system administrators or IT specialists, we were impressed by the enthusiasm and talent of our female agents. We are already looking forward to the next Mission IT, which will take place on April 23, 2026.
