BEX Event 2025: Once to “Minga” and back

This year, the BEX team chose to go on a city trip to Munich—a decision that turned out to be a great success.

We left Aalen in the morning with our shuttle bus and the day started as planned. With hot coffee and a small snack, everyone was in a great mood. After arriving in Munich, our first stop was the impressive Body Worlds exhibition, where real human and animal specimens illustrate the anatomy and function of the body in a fascinating way. Deeply impressed by the complexity and perfection of the human body, we continued with the program.

Afterwards, our guided tour of the old town started at the Mariensäule – the central point of Munich. Did you know that all distances to Munich are measured from this exact point? Despite the rain and gray skies, we didn’t let it spoil our mood and made our way through the historic city center with umbrellas and weatherproof clothing. Our guide told us fascinating anecdotes about St. Peter’s Church, the Viktualienmarkt, the world-famous Hofbräuhaus, winding alleys, and the legend of the monkey tower in the Alter Hof – a journey through history and Munich flair.

After the culturally enriching tour, we stopped at the traditional Weißes Bräuhaus inn in the valley to add a culinary aspect to the day. There we fortified ourselves with hearty Munich specialties, good conversation, and a lively atmosphere.

After a wonderful team outing, we returned not only with full stomachs, but also with many shared experiences under our belts. Days like these not only strengthen our team spirit, but also show how much energy, fun, and cohesion there is in our team. The mix of city trip, team event, and cozy get-together proved once again: Together, we are simply unbeatable!
