For the fourth time the Business Partner Day of BEX took place on October 10, 2019. On this day, sales and cooperation partners were given an insight into new developments at BEX, a lively exchange took place between the experts, and they also supported each other with ideas and suggestions.
Corny’s Finest – Coffee Specialties
Cornelius Schelling accompanied us through the day with his special coffee. Coffee and espresso from Corny’s Finest is premium coffee from organic farming and is traded ethically. The participants liked the idea and the coffee was also very special and tasty. More information about Corny can be found on its website.
Michael Lux – Foreign Trade Specialist
As keynote speaker we could win Michael Lux for our Business Partner Day. Michael Lux is a scientific advisor of the European Forum for Foreign Trade, Customs and Excise and foreign trade specialist for general customs law, customs procedures, customs tariff, customs value, customs debt, anti-dumping duties, protection against pirated goods and freedom of movement of goods within the EU. For the BEX Business Partner Day, an interesting presentation on the topic of “Export, Transit, Brexit” was presented, highlighting case studies that our partners followed with great interest. There were also interesting talks and discussions during the presentation. Due to a follow-up event, Mr. Lux unfortunately had to leave us after the lunch break – but in the meantime there was enough time to talk to him.
Exchange, Dialogue, Suggestions
During the last years we could convince ourselves that the discussion platform “World Café” is a good possibility to get in contact with the participants during such an event and to exchange freely within the group. This year we have made a small change: BEX did not specify the questions for discussion, but our guests could submit topic suggestions together with their registration. Of course we took these suggestions into account and incorporated them into this year’s World Café, so that once again very interesting and informative results were the result of the discussions.
News from the BEX
We were proud to present the new web interfaces of our sanctioned party list screening application SANSCREEN to our partners. For some time now we have been working on a facelift of the user interfaces of our applications according to the basic principles of UI/UX design. The prototype of SANSCREEN could be tested by our partners, after which they were visibly very impressed.
The relaunch of our website was also announced: our Head of Sales & Marketing, Stefan Kluge, presented the innovations, changes and the product configurator. This also met with lively interest.
We have also informed our partners that BEX will have its premiere in 2020, when we will participate for the first time in the largest logistics trade fair at LogiMAT 2020.
Many good things happen at BEX, about which we have informed our partners. We hope and wish that we will continue to report on interesting innovations in 2020. We will keep you up to date.
In the following a few impressions:
