Test the products of tomorrow today!

Test today the products of tomorrow – Become a usability tester for the new BEX products

Since the end of 2019, we at BEX have made it our business to optimize our products to make them more user-friendly. It is important to us to realize the products in such a way that the user can work in a goal-oriented way and, above all, that the daily work with the BEX products is relieved by task adequacy.

We work according to efficient and iterative design processes in the field of user experience. Here, the testing of prototypes with real users is an integral part of the human-centered design process according to DIN EN ISO 9241-210 (standardization for the UX area).

Where do we stand in product development?

In the last months we have been working on understanding and describing the usage context of our users. This provided us with the basis for new and important usage requirements. These were the basis for the first drafts and prototypes. Our task now is to evaluate these new approaches to ensure that we have considered all usage requirements. As with all previous steps, our users come into play here as well.

AES FOR YOU! Testing

Your role in product development

Our users are our static benchmark when it comes to internal decisions in product development. It is the view of our customers that helps us to move forward and become better. We at BEX know our products very well, almost too well to judge how our users actually work with them. We understand that user feedback is the most important thing when it comes to optimizing and evaluating our products. This evaluation takes place in the form of a usability test.

“Tests with real people show us each time anew that pure assumptions are not sufficient”.
Sebastian Baumgarten

Product manager, BEX Components AG

Procedure of the Usability Testings

A usability test is performed to evaluate the usability of a software or hardware with the actual user of the product, in this case AES FOR YOU! and SANSCREEN. These tests can be performed at your site, if the distance and the current corona situation allows it, or remotely via services like teams or similar providers. You have the choice whether you want to become a one-time test participant or part of our tester pool in order to be able to participate in product development again and again in the future.

Good to know:

  • You cannot make mistakes.
  • We test the system, not you.
  • You can cancel the test at any time.
  • Think out loud, whether your feedback is good or bad.

What happens after the testings?

In the best case, our solutions cover all usage requirements. If this is not the case, the prototype must be revised and then evaluated again together with the users.

You are user or interested in the export portal AES FOR YOU! and/or SANSCREEN, then you are the tester we are looking for.

Have we aroused your interest? Then contact us today and secure a place for the first testings at the end of September 2020.
