LogiMAT – Cancellation due to risk of infection by corona virus
One of the largest logistics trade fairs, LogiMAT in Stuttgart, was cancelled due to the risk of the corona virus spreading. This was done due to pressure from the responsible health department of the district of Esslingen. The public order office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen ordered the fair organizer EUROEXPO to cancel the fair on 04 March 2020 at 17:17 pm.
As reason the authority gave the danger by the intensified and accelerated spreading of the Coronavirus in Germany, which affects in particular also the region Stuttgart.
How many visitors were expected for LogiMAT 2020?
In 2019, the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management attracted well over 60,000 visitors. A good 10,000 more visitors than in 2017. 70,000 visitors are expected to attend LogiMAT 2020 due to the increased interest.
Is there an alternative date?
Unfortunately there is no alternative date for LogiMAT. The next LogiMAT will take place from 09 – 11 March 2021 in Stuttgart.
